A Dream That Became a Legacy
Founded in February 1993 by Dr. Nestor V. dela Cruz and Dr. Myra R. dela Cruz, St. Dominic Savio College began as a humble two-storey school with 23 students. Today, it stands as a premier educational institution committed to the Total Development of Persons.
Guided by the Patron Saint of the Youth, SDSC has produced graduates who lead with love, serve with purpose, and excel on the global stage—truly "Rising to the Challenge of Times."

SDSC seeks to uphold and communicate truth by instilling it in the Savian scholar in all scholarly, personal, and professional pursuits.
SDSC seeks to protect, preserve and promote Filipino culture.
With global perspective, SDSC seeks to prepare the Savian scholar to the rigors and demands of the borderless world.
SDSC seeks to realize the TOTAL DEVELOPMENT OF PERSONS—to be an apostle to the saint's philosophy of "Love, Leadership, and Service."

SDSC HISTORY
Milestones of
Excellence
1993
St. Dominic Savio School founded by Dr. Nestor & Dr. Myra dela Cruz. Opens with 23 students in a two-storey residential house.
1994
High School Department opens. Enrollment doubles. Pre-School & Elementary receive recognition from DECS.
1995
Renamed to St. Dominic Savio College. College Department opens with courses in Mass Communication, Business, and Computer Science.
1998
First batch of College Department graduates march and receive diplomas.
2000
SDSC joins the National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA).
2003
SDSC ranks 3rd among 460 nursing schools nationwide. Top 1 Nursing Board topnotcher comes from SDSC.
2006
SDSC wins the 1st COMEPP Inter-School Management Quiz Bee Championship.
2009
SDSC Dance Troupe performs at 'One Philippines' in Seoul, Korea. SDSC granted ISO 9001:2008 certification.
2010
Hall of Fame Awardee – COMEPP. 100% Passing Performance in CPA Licensure Examination.
2012
School of Law opens, offering the Juris Doctor program.
2021
ISO Accreditation 9001:2015 Stage 1 & 2 Audit passed. E-Library (Librarika) launched with 500+ books.
2022
29th Foundation Celebration. "Rising to the Challenge of Times" — SDSC thrives through and beyond the pandemic.
